Goal  Statement:

The goal of Sand Paths Academy is to establish an appropriate learning environment for each student in the program to enhance their individual learning style and to maximize their individual potential. Creating an atmosphere of warmth, trust, and autonomy for the student enables each to move forward academically by either understanding mitigating emotional blocks or by understanding and developing compensatory skills for learning disabilities.

Included in the goal of Sand Paths is to provide maximal increased individualized academic, behavioral and/or emotional interventions to facilitate the students’ gradual successful transition into the least restrictive environment applicable.  Ideally, we hope to assist each student to acquire the necessary skills to be successful after leaving Sand Paths, whether that means returning to public school, attending college, or entering the work force.
